1250!? Holy price gouging Batman!! I have a Russian SKS in pristine condition, and a few months ago I wouldn’t expect it to cost more than 500 of I were to sell it, maybe a bit more now, but no SKS should be pushing 1k, especially a Norinco with banged up furniture. You should be able to get an M59 for under 500 no problem if you shop around and don’t go to stores hoping to capitalize on panic. I see plenty of online stores with still reasonable prices on Yugos and ChiComs, so I very much advise shopping around still. Find a dealer with a reasonable transfer fee and order that way. You get a good quality SKS with wood furniture and a perfectly reasonable price.
Update: I checked a few pricing online, and I’m still seeing M59s for under 300 bucks, and a ChiCom for 260, through dealers who aren’t trying to exploit the panic. That guy asking for 1250 is just hoping to catch a stupid fish.
